    Chapter 1 1.1 Outline 1.1.1 Operator Maintenance 0018-5820 imagePRESS C7000VP / imagePRESS C6000VP The operator maintenance means some parts of replacement of the periodically replaced parts/durables and consumables, maintenance such as cleaning, and image adjustment performed by the user that have been conventionally performed by the service technician at the user's site. The operator maintenance allows the user to perform maintenance and image adjustment without the need for the visit of the service technician to the user's site, resulting in the reduced downtime of the machine.

Depending on the version of external controller, it may not be installed at shipment so that engineers are expected to install the Flash Player in an external controller at installing the operator maintenance as below.

In order to reduce the risk of accidents, injuries and/or damage to the machine, only such trained operators should perform maintenance functions and/or use this mode with respect to this machine.

The parts to be replaced and cleaned and its relevant information are listed below.
