Bleeding the fork legs

Removing the fork protector

Preparatory work
–
Deactivate the vehicle. (
–
Fold the seat up. ( p. 69)
–
Remove the KTM PowerPack. (
–
Mount the covering cap. (
–
Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. (
Main work
–
Release bleeder screws 1
Any excess pressure escapes from the interior of the fork.
–
Tighten the bleeder screws.
Finishing work
–
Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. (
–
Install the KTM PowerPack. (
–
Lock the seat. ( p. 69)

Remove screws . Take off the clamp.
–
Remove screws 2 on the left fork leg. Take off the fork pro-
tector.

Remove screws 3 on the right fork leg. Take off the fork pro-
tector.
