Auto Start Stop warn-
ing light/Auto Start Stop
OFF indicator light (yel-
low) (if equipped)
! Auto Start Stop warning light
CAUTION
. If the Auto Start Stop warning
light is flashing, there may be a
malfunction in the Auto Start
Stop system. We recommend
that you have your vehicle in-
spected at a SUBARU authorized
dealer as soon as possible.
. If the Auto Start Stop warning
light is illuminated at any time
other than in the following cases,
and will not turn off even if the
Auto Start Stop OFF switch is
pushed and held, we recommend
that you have your vehicle in-
spected at a SUBARU dealer as
soon as possible.
The Auto Start Stop warning light will
illuminate in yellow if either of the following
operations is performed when the engine
has been temporarily stopped by the Auto
Start Stop system.
. the engine hood is opened
. the driver's seatbelt is unfastened
. the driver's door is opened
In these cases, to ensure safety, the
engine will not be automatically restarted,
even if the following operations are per-
formed. Use normal operation to restart
the engine.
. the brake pedal is released (CVT
models)
. the clutch pedal is fully depressed (MT
models)
! Auto Start Stop OFF indicator light
This light will illuminate in yellow when the
Auto Start Stop OFF switch is pressed to
prevent the Auto Start Stop system from
operating. It will turn off when the Auto
Start Stop OFF switch is pressed once
more to enable operation of the Auto Start
Stop system.

Auto Start Stop indica-
tor light (green) (if
equipped)
This indicator light illuminates in green
when the engine has been temporarily
stopped by the Auto Start Stop system. It
will turn off when the engine is restarted.
Information display (if
equipped)
1)
Outside temperature indicator
2)
Driving information display
3)
Clock
With the ignition switch in the "ACC"
position, the clock appears on the display.
With the ignition switch in the "ON"
position, the outside temperature indica-
tor, driving information display and clock
all appear on the display.
