The recipient's terminal is not
able to handle the sent image.
The document was sent with
no text inserted.
Cause
The IP address for the device
is not specified correctly.
The URL setting in the Web
browser is incorrect.
The settings in the Web
browser are incorrect.
If proxy settings are specified
with the browser and the IP
address of this copier cannot
be recognized by the proxy
server, the Easy Web Manage-
ment window cannot be dis-
played.
The LAN cable is damaged.
The browser is too small.
An appropriate font size is not
selected.
Depending on the browser,
this character may appear.
The operation differs depend-
ing on the browser used.
Remedy
Change the size, resolution
and compression encoding
method so that they are sup-
ported by the recipient's ter-
minal, and then try sending the
data again.
With some e-mail applica-
tions, if an e-mail message is
received containing no text
and only an attached file, it
may not be possible to open
the attached file. Therefore,
text should be inserted into the
document that is sent.
Remedy
Specify the IP address.
In the "Address" box, type the
IP address of the specified de-
vice.
Even though the device can be
accessed, certain settings must
be specified according to the
network configuration in or-
der to establish a connection.
For details, contact your net-
work administrator.
Use the proxy settings in the
browser to add the IP address
of this copier to the list of ex-
ceptions that the proxy server
will not use.
Replace the LAN cable.
Increase the size of the brows-
er.
Specify an appropriate font
size for the computer and in
the browser.
Reload the browser window
or rescan.
