Areas of use and application

Rexroth products represent state-of-the-art developments and manufacturing.
They are tested prior to delivery to ensure operating safety and reliability.
WARNING
The products are designed for the use in an industrial environment and may
therefore only be used as intended. If they are not used as intended, situa‐
tions causing personal injury as well as material damage can occur.
Rexroth disclaims as manufacturer any warranty, liability or dam‐
ages occurring due to an unintended use of the products. Further‐
more, Rexroth is not paying any compensation. The user is re‐
sponsible for any risks resulting from and unintended use of the
products.
Before using Rexroth products, the following requirements must be met to
ensure the intended use of the products:
● Everyone using one of our products must first read and understand the
relevant safety instructions and be familiar with the intended use of the
products
● Hardware products have to remain in their original state, in other words,
no structural changes are permitted. The decompilation of software
products or the alteration of source codes is not permitted
● Do not install or operate damaged or faulty products
● Ensure that the products have been installed as described in the rele‐
vant documentation
The machine control panels of the type IndraControl VAM 10.2/VAM 40.2 by
Rexroth are intended for operating control units.
NOTICE
The machine control panels IndraControl VAM 10.2/VAM 40.2 may exclusive‐
ly be used with the accessories and add-on components specified in this doc‐
umentation. Components that are not expressly mentioned must neither be
attached nor connected. The same applies to cables and lines.
Only to be operated with the component configurations and combinations ex‐
pressly defined and with the software and firmware specified in the corre‐
sponding functional description.
For the application-specific use of the machine control panels , device types
with different equipment and different interfaces are available.
