The router has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to
Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates,
uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a
residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to correct
the interference at his own expense.

Nonregulatory Environmental Standards

ACX5000 routers are designed to be Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) compliant.
Those device product SKUs are designed to meet the following NEBS compliance standards:
SR-3580 NEBS Criteria Levels (Level 3 Compliance)
GR-1089-CORE, Issue 6: EMC and Electrical Safety—Generic Criteria for Network Telecommunications
Equipment
The equipment is suitable for installation in locations where the National Electrical Code (NEC) applies.
The battery return connection is to be treated as an Isolated DC return (DC-I), as defined in
GR-1089-CORE.
GR-63-CORE: NEBS, Physical Protection
The equipment is suitable for installation as part of the Common Bonding Network (CBN).
The equipment is suitable for installation in a central office (CO).
