Funcionamiento del Sistemas
Sensor de Posición del Acelerador
Functioning
By accelerating the position of the throttle valve changes. Nib type
blade will move over the resistance coil while being pivoted directly
on the shaft of the butterfly valve.
Throttle position zero (closed). When the throttle valve is closed, the
pen is at the end landward. A low voltage signal is sent to the ECU in
this position that interprets the throttle is in the zero position.
Additional throttle movements. As the throttle is moved to the open
position, the nib end swings 5 v olt resistance. This sends a signal to
the ECU highervoltage. Thus the DC voltage load to the ECU
communicates regularly theexact position of the throttle valve.
Throttle Position Sensor
Function
Measuring the exact position of the opening of the throttle valve and sending the
measured signal voltage to the ECU.
Building
The throttle body having the throttle valve mounted in the intake manifold. The
throttle valve is connected to the throttle cable and its opening and closing is
controlled by rotating the throttle grip that is located on the right side of the
rudder. The throttle position sensor mounted on the throttle valve continuously
reports the throttle position to the ECU.
It is a rotary sensor having a variable resistance also called potentiometer.
Internally it has a resistance coil forming a half circle. One end is grounded and
the other is connected to a
source of 5 volts from the ECU.
The pen has a contact leading to the spiral shaft and connected to the throttle
valve.
Also the position of the throttle valve is important to control the idle speed.
