EVAP is an emission control system which prevents fuel vapors going into the atmosphere, making drops that go
to the container.These droplets are fed to the engine through an anti-return valve electrically operated

Operating principle EVAP System
There is a passage from the tank to the container through the fuel cap. This passage helps breathing system and
also the passage of the vapors of HC to the container.
The container acts as an accumulator of these vapors, which are purged to the engine via the purge valve, thanks to
the vehiclesuction.
