Functioning:
In the ABS system, ABS unit detects the possibility of wheel lockup taking the signal from the speedometer sensor
located on bothwheels. When the wheels are about to lock, the hydro-electric controller controls the fluid pressure in
the brake caliper and thusprevents the wheels from locking, avoiding accidents.

Unit ABS:
The ABS unit is a combination of electrical and hydraulic controls. ABS ECU receives a pulse signal from speed
sensors of bothwheels, and accordingly controls the flow of brake fluid to the caliper.
ABS unit is located on the chassis under the fuel tank. Hydraulic connections from the master cylinder to the caliper
are directed bythe ABS unit. The sensor signal of the front and rear wheels opening or closing solenoid valves in the
ABS unit and thereby controlthe flow of brake fluid to the caliper.
Solenoid valve (Input):
Allows flow of brake fluid when the caliper brake.
Solenoid valve (Output):
If a wheel lock reduces the force applied to the disc pressure, allowing the brake fluid to flow back into the reservoir.
Sensors Wheel Speed:
These are speed sensors hall effect type. They detect the pulse sensor mounted wheel disc and send it to the ABS
unit. Speed
