VOX Control

VOX (Voice Operating Transmission) allows the user to
transmit voice in a hands-free condition. It is detecting audio
automatically when full duplex private call and telephone call
use the fist microphone.
This feature is only available if set up by your Service Provider.
If it is disabled, transmittion can start upon pressing PTT.

Receiving Calls

The MTM800 will automatically switch to the mode of the
incoming call. After the incoming call ends, the display
returns automatically to the mode it was in before the
incoming call arrived.
In Private, Phone and PABX modes on receiving not
Emergency TMO or DMO group call the MTM800 stays in the
current mode. You can hear the call and the display remains
unchanged.
Your MTM800 will alert you of an incoming call depending on
the setting you selected in Tones menu option (see page 83).
During message editing, you will be alerted of an incoming
Group/Emergency Group/Broadcast Group Call if configured
by your Service Provider.

Busy User Pre-emption (BUP)

This feature is only available if set up by your Service Provider.
A console operator in the system might wish to call you while
you are in an on-going call (Private, Phone, PABX). The
console operator will activate the BUP feature to interrupt and
pre-empt your call.
