Adjustment Preparation
1.
Select the maintenance menu M374 and set the ANALOG I/O to 4ch.
2.
Turn OFF and ON the power of this unit.
Input Level Adjustment
Channel-1 Adjustment
1.
Select the HOME of the function menu and set the "F4 : MONITR L" to "CH1".
2.
Select the P1 INPUT of the function menu and set the "F3 : A1 INPUT" to "ANALOG 1" ( analog audio
signal ).
3.
Connect an audio signal generator output to the ANALOG AUDIO INPUT 1 connector.
4.
Connect an audio level meter or audio analyzer input to the ANALOG AUDIO OUTPUT L connector.
5.
Set the audio signal generator output to 1 kHz, +4 dBu.
6.
Select "A271 : INPUT UNITY".

Maintenance menu → M1 : ADJUST → A2 : AUDIO/VIDEO/BATTERY → A27 : APR VR → A271 : INPUT

7.
Select "INPUT LEVEL CH1".
The INPUT LEVEL CH1 ADJUST window appears.
8.
Check and adjust the level on the audio level meter or audio analyzer while changing the set value with the [PUSH
SET] knob.
Specification : +4.0 ± 0.1 dBu (across 600 Ω load).
9.
Press [F1 (RETURN)]button to return to the "A271 : INPUT UNITY" screen.
Channel-2 Adjustment
1.
Select the HOME of the function menu and set the "F5 : MONITR R" to "CH2".
2.
Select the P1 INPUT of the function menu and set the "F4 : A2 INPUT" to "ANALOG 2" (analog audio signal).
3.
Connect an audio signal generator output to the ANALOG AUDIO INPUT 2 connector.
4.
Connect an audio level meter or audio analyzer input to the ANALOG AUDIO OUTPUT R connector.
5.
Select "A271 : INPUT UNITY".
6.
Select "INPUT LEVEL CH2".
The INPUT LEVEL CH2 ADJUST window appears.
7.
Check and adjust the level on the audio level meter or audio analyzer while changing the set value with the [PUSH
SET] knob.
Specification : +4.0 ± 0.1 dBu (across 600 Ω load).
8.
Press [F1 (RETURN)] button to return to the "A271 : INPUT UNITY" screen.
9.
Press [F1 (RETURN)] button twice to return to the "A2 : AUDIO/VIDEO/BATTERY" screen.
Channel-3 Adjustment
1.
Select the HOME of the function menu and set the "F4 : MONITR L" to "CH3".
2.
Select the P1 INPUT of the function menu and set the "F5 : A3 INPUT" to "ANALOG 3" (analog audio signal).
3.
Connect an audio signal generator output to the ANALOG AUDIO INPUT 3 connector.
4.
Connect an audio level meter or audio analyzer input to the AUDIO MONITOR L connector.
5.
Set the audio signal generator output to 1 kHz, +4 dBu.
6.
Select "A271 : INPUT UNITY".
