11. LED CHECK

Before attempting to install, it is worth checking that the LED system performs
satisfactorily.
11.1 Fitting the transformer's male DC jack
connector into the convection box.
At the front LHS and RHS of the convector box are
access grommets fitted. These allow for the routing of
the transformer lead & DC jack into the convection box.
This feed is possible from either side to accomadate the
location of your 13 amp 1 Gang Double pole wall
socket. (Complaint with BS 1363 Part 2).
Pierce the rubber grommet selected to feed through the
male connector, leaving the other intact.
11.2 Connecting the male and female DC
jack to the LED circuit.
Push the male DC jack connector into the
male DC jack connector. Ensure they are
push together fully.
NOTE: The remaining wire from the DC Jack
back to the transformer MUST be left outside
the convector box and NOT left in at the base
of the burner assembly.

11.3 Checking the LED operation.

Ensure the transformer is plugged into a
suitable mains supply and the wall socket is
switched ON.
Switch on the LEDs by push ON the rocker
switch as shown. The 8 LEDs will come on
and begin gently pulsing.
NOTE: If no LEDS function check all switches
are in the their ON positions, the DC jacks are
fitted correctly and there are no loose
connections in the circuit.
NOTE: The LED circuit is seperate to that of the gas and its ignition circuit, so they
can both be checked seperately or together.
