Unlike various PC operating systems, a file and directory on the Extron product are allowed to have the same name.
The factory configured passwords for all accounts on this device have been set to the device serial number. In the event of an absolute system reset, the passwords convert to the default, which is
no password.

Additional Description
This resets all device settings/memories to factory
]
default; however, the firmware version remains the
same. This includes all settings, adjustments, PINs,
the IP address, and subnet mask. Files in flash
memory are also erased by this command.
The IP address is reset to 192.168.254.254, the
subnet mask is reset to 255.255.0.0. This command
is identical to reset mode 5, discussed in
the Unit
IPL T S Series • Communication and Control

on page 12.
