Additional Description
The current port timeout period applies to the
currently open Telnet session only. When you start
another Telnet session, it uses the default global port
timeout period.

= This variable is applicable only when the
IPL T S unit is connected via Ethernet. If the IPL
T S device is connected via RS-232 protocol,
only the global timeout commands apply, and any

commands involving
return the E13 error
response.
The global port timeout is the default timeout period
for all Telnet sessions.
This timeout period is applicable only when the IPL
T S unit is connected via Ethernet, and you must be
logged in as an administrator to change this setting.
