9.1.11 Bemessungsstrommodul
Das Bemessungsstrommodul bestimmt den Bemessungsstrom I
innerhalb eines gewissen Bereiches für eine gegebene Baugröße
des Leistungsschalters.
Wird ein Bemessungsstrommodul für einen Strom gesteckt, der
größer ist, als der maximal zulässige Bemessungsstrom des Lei-
stungsschalters, so wird dieser Fehler von der Elektronik des Über-
stromauslösers erkannt und mit einer blinkenden Anzeige
T.U. ERROR signalisiert.
Der Überstromauslöser ignoriert den vom falschen Bemessungs-
strommodul vorgegebenen Wert für den Bemessungsstrom und
setzt diesen auf den Wert des für die Baugröße des betreffenden
Leistungsschalters kleinsten Bemessungsstrommoduls.
Gleiches passiert, wenn für einen Schalter der Baugröße III ein
Bemessungsstrommodul kleiner 800 A verwendet wird. Alle einge-
stellten Schutzparameter werden entsprechend angepasst.
Wird ein Leistungsschalter ohne Bemessungsstrommodul in
Betrieb genommen, leuchtet die Anzeige T.U. ERROR und der
Überstromauslöser löst aus.

If a rating plug with a higher current than the maximum permissible
circuit breaker rated continuous current is plugged in, the electronic
system of the trip unit recognizes this error and signals it with a
flashing T.U. ERROR indicator.
The trip unit ignores the default value for the rated continuous cur-
rent provided by the false rating plug and adjusts it to the value of
the smallest rating plug provided for the frame size of the circuit
breaker concerned.
The same happens if a circuit breaker with frame size III is equipped
with a rating plug smaller than 800 A or no rating plug is fitted at all.
All set protection parameters are adjusted accordingly.
If a circuit breaker is started up without a rating plug, the
T.U. ERROR indicator will light up and the trip unit will trip.
