4.2.4 Main Board Rear Unit Removal

The main board rear unit can be removed without disassembling other
parts in advance.
CAUTION
When installing this unit, push firmly when
seating it in the connector on the C228 driver
board.
 
Firmware for the Stylus Pro 5000 has not yet
 
been installed on replacement main boards.
When replacing the main board, reinstall the
proper firmware. (See "Firmware uploading"
in Chapter 1.)
1. Remove 2 screws securing the main board rear unit to the printer
mechanism.
2. Pull the main board rear unit back and remove it. (See Figure
4-12.)
