Stylus Pro 5000
1. Remove the printer's upper housing unit. (See Chapter 4 for
instructions.)
2. Insert a sheet of EPSON Super A3 glossy paper in the rear manual
feed slot. (Move the lever illustrated in Figure 5-19 toward the rear of
the printer as you slide the paper as far as it will go between the paper
load roller and the paper guide roller.)

3. When the paper stops, rotate the paper feed gear clockwise by hand.
(Use the 2 small knobs on the surface of the gear to move it. See
Figure 5-20.)
CAUTION
Only touch the 2 small knobs on the surface
of the gear. Do not touch any other part of
the gear, or you may affect the paper feed
pitch.

4. Continue to rotate the paper feed gear clockwise until the paper is fed
completely through the paper path and begins to emerge from the
paper eject unit. Carefully feed the paper slightly more than 1 cm.
