8. Make sure the hopper lever is directly under the lifter clutch lever. (See
Figure 4-93.)

9. Remove the hopper timing belt from around shaft "A", and place
combination gear (18.144, 24) on the shaft. (See Figure 4-94.)

10. Press the hopper release lever to the right and rotate combination gear
(18.144, 24) until the three holes on the gear are in the position shown
in Figure 4-95.

11. Keep the hopper release lever pressed to the right and insert a
positioning pin into the hole marked red in Figure 4-95. Make sure the
pin goes through the corresponding hole in the printer mechanism.
