Installing and Configuring the Avaya S8400 Media Server
Possible solution
Provide the correct SAP number.
Provide the serial number for the SIPI.
Ensure that two license files do not exist on the server.
If so, delete one of the files.
The file might be corrupt. Download the file again from
the RFA site.
Use binary mode to upload the file.
The license file does not have an IP address yet. This
situation is normal when the license file is first installed
because the file cannot see the SIPI.
After 30 minutes, the license file has not located the
SIPI. In a SAT session, type reset system 1 and
press Enter to reset the 30-minute clock.
The media server might be in no license mode
because the 30-minute timer lapsed. In a SAT
session, type reset system 1 and press Enter to
reset the 30-minute clock.
Re-install the Avaya authentication files.
Administer a super-user login on the active server.
