Installing the DC power supply

Install the DC power supply to the DC input power source of the Ethernet Routing Switch
8300.
Danger:
Risk of injury by electric shock
Before working on this equipment, be aware of proper safety practices and the hazards
involved with electrical circuits. Use only power cords that have a grounding path. Ensure
the switch is properly grounded before powering on the unit.
Procedure steps
1. Switch off the power supply.
2. Remove the filler panel from the power bay if necessary.
3. Grasp the handle of the new power supply.
4. Push the new power supply partway into the bay, leaving the terminal block at the
