5. Tighten the retaining screws until the power supply is seated firmly.
6. Connect the power cord to the power supply and to an AC power outlet that is on

Important:
When installing a 8000 Series chassis that requires two power supplies, turn on
both power supply units within 2 seconds of each other. If you wait longer to turn
on the second power supply, both power supplies shut down. To correct this
condition, turn off both power supplies, wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn
on both power supplies again within 2 seconds.
