2. Remove the filler panel or cover.
3. Make sure that the insert and extract levers are extended away from the front of the
4. Slide the module into the slot using the slot module guides.
5. Slide the module into the chassis until its connector panel touches the chassis back
6. Rotate the insert and extract levers to seat the module backplane connectors.
7. Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the two captive screws to secure the module

Installing a power supply module

Install the power supply that you ordered with your chassis in the leftmost bay. The 8306 and
8310 chassis have three power supply bays, numbered 1, 2, and 3 left to right as viewed from
the front of the chassis.
Caution:
Do not mix power supply types
Do not mix power supply types in the 8306 or 8310 chassis. All installed PoE 8348TX-PWR
and 8348GTX-PWR modules lose PoE power when the chassis detects mixed power
supplies.
Installing AC power supply modules
Install the AC modules in the left-most bay to supply AC power to the modules.
