Use the following procedure to install ELAN and TLAN Ethernet ports on the
back of a Communication Server 1000M UEM.

disrupts service. You must turn off power to the shelf during this
procedure.

Obtain the special cabling kit (NTDW69AAE5). The NTDW69AAE5
cabling kit includes the items shown in Figure 33.
