After changing the EasyTouch
control panel, the automatic
cleaning process does not
start.
The display shows this:
'Cleaning running', but no
program function or elapsing
of time.

The display responds audibly
to contact (click) but the
screen lighting remains off
(dark screen)

easyTOUCH control starts up
normally but does not respond
to touch contact (no click)

After the system has been
switched on, a blue screen
appears with a
grey window:
' easyTOUCH.exe - error'

easyTOUCH control
completely non-functional
after replacement
All telltale LEDs are not lit

After the unit is switched on,
only a grey screen without
symbols appears.

The USB slot does not
function at all. USB stick is not
detected.
Possible cause or remedy
basic screen:
refer to procedure described in 5.8.3.
Software version on the control module and
easyTOUCH control do not match.
Click the gear wheels -
Click Service -
Enter password, '1gaz' -
go to the I/O tab
Click Update SM bottom left
Double-click in Flash-Disk menu,
ECP7000 - double click
SM.bin - double click
Select 'Update SM'
On the TX 18, check the voltage in the 12V
supply module and increase by 10% if
necessary.
On TX18 and LED version, check that the grey
ribbon cable is properly located.
High-voltage inverter defective
On TX18 and LED version, check that the 4-
pin brown ribbon is properly located, and
inspect for signs of damage.
easyTOUCH software is damaged.
Use Quit (possibly click Details and make a
screenshot and/or take a picture of this and
report to Convotherm for troubleshooting
purposes) to confirm and to close the grey
pop-up window.
Run the software update as described in the
service manual, otherwise run the update
manually as described in Point 5.8.1.
Check the 12V power supply on the
easyTOUCH control unit
The polarities of the power supply connector
on X4 Plus (red) and negative (blue) must not
be reversed.
Graphics ribbon cable not plugged in correctly.
Check power supply
Failing that, replace the easyTOUCH control
panel
Check cable connection to USB port. USB
cable may have slipped out.
Remove easyTOUCH panel and try the USB
port once again, this time directly on the
easyTOUCH panel.
