7.9.8 Example 8: The centralized control group number cannot be set (Inverter K Series).
Situation
An attempt was made to set the centralized control group number with the indoor unit remote control, but
"00" cannot be selected in the field setting mode.
Cause
1. The central remote control or unified ON/OFF control is OFF.
2. The central remote control or unified ON/OFF control, or indoor unit is not wired to the centralized

Supply power to either the central remote control or unified ON/OFF control.
Wire the central remote control or unified ON/OFF control, or indoor unit to the centralized control line.

7.9.9 Example 9: "88" cannot be cleared from the central remote control.
Situation
The display on the central remote control does not change from its initial state after turning power ON.

Cause
1. None of the indoor units connected to the central remote control have been given a group No.
2. The connector for setting the master control inside the central remote control is disconnected.
Remedial Action

Activate power to the central remote control, unified ON/OFF control and indoor unit before setting the
centralized control group number.
Set a centralized control group No. for each indoor unit with the respective remote controls.
Connect the connector for setting the master control in one of the central remote control.
If the setting for master control has been changed, reset the power to the unit at the ON/OFF switch or
the forced reset switch of the control.
Activate power to the central remote control, unified ON/OFF control and indoor unit before setting the
centralized control group No.
