& WARNING There is a risk of an accident if the tire pressure
monitoring system is malfunctioning
If the tire pressure monitoring system is malfunctioning, it is not
able to issue a warning if there is pressure loss in one or more of
the tires.
Underinflated tires may, for example, impair the driving, steering
and braking characteristics.
Have the tire pressure monitoring system checked at a quali‐

fied specialist workshop.
Visit a qualified specialist workshop.

The tire pressure monitor yellow warning lamp (pressure loss/malfunc‐
tion) lights up.
The tire pressure monitor has detected a tire pressure loss in at least
one tire.
& WARNING Risk of an accident due to insufficient tire pressure
Tire pressures that are too low pose the following hazards:
The tires may burst, especially as the load and vehicle speed

increase.
The tires may wear excessively and/or unevenly, which may

greatly impair tire traction.
The driving characteristics, as well as steering and braking, may

be greatly impaired.
You could then lose control of the vehicle.
Observe the recommended tire pressure.

Adjust the tire pressure if necessary.

Stop the vehicle in a safe location.

Check the tire pressure and the tires.
