Oil level OK: the oil level is between the

MIN and the MAX mark.
Oil level too low: the oil level is at the MIN

mark or below.
If the oil level is too low, add approx.

1.1 US qt (1 liter) engine oil.
If the oil level is too high, drain off excess
#
engine oil.
Visit a qualified specialist workshop.
Checking the engine oil level with an on-
board computer
The engine oil level is determined when driving.
Depending on the driving profile, the oil level can
only be displayed after a driving time of up to
30 minutes and only when the ignition is
switched on.
Correct measurement of the oil level is not possi‐
ble in the following cases:
the vehicle is not level during measurement.

the hood was opened beforehand.
R
The engine must then be restarted and the
engine oil level is measured when driving.
