Possible causes/consequences and
After the message appears for the first time, the engine can only be
started another 10 times. The number of remaining engine starts
(10 to 1) is shown in the message every time the engine is started.
Visit a qualified specialist workshop immediately.

* In addition, the yellow DEF indicator lamp lights up and a warning
tone sounds.
The DEF supply has fallen below the reserve mark.
After the message appears for the first time, the remaining DEF sup‐
ply will last for approximately 1200 miles (1900 km). The engine can
then only be started another 16 times. The number of remaining

Add at least 2.5 gal (9.5 l) of DEF (

You can only drive the vehicle at a maximum speed of 5 mph

Possible causes/consequences and
* The installed wheels do not have suitable tire pressure sensors. The
tire pressure monitor has been switched off.
Install wheels with suitable tire pressure sensors.

* The tire pressure sensor signal is missing from one or more tire(s).
No pressure value is displayed for the tire in question.
Have the defective tire pressure sensor replaced at a qualified
#
specialist workshop.
* There is interference from a powerful source of radio waves As a
result, no signals from the tire pressure sensors are received. The
tire pressure monitor is temporarily unavailable.
Continue driving.
#
As soon as the cause has been eliminated, the tire pressure
monitor automatically switches on.
* The pressure in one or more tires suddenly falls. The wheel position
is shown.
