Recovery time (can only be parameterized for high feature motor starters)
The 'recovery time' is the time specified for cooling, after which the system can
be reset if overload tripping occurs.
During the recovery time, pending trip reset signals (DO 0.3) have no effect.
The motor starters are set to the following times:
• for DSe ST, RSe ST:
setting fixed to 90 s.
• for DSe HF, RSe HF, sDSSte / sDSte and sRSSte / sRSte:
The recovery time after overload tripping is at least 1 minute. The recovery
time is parameterizable and can be set between 60 seconds and 1800 sec-
onds.
Factory setting: 90 seconds
voltage failures during this period extend the specified time accordingly if the
basic parameter 'Protection against voltage failure' is active.
Pre-warning limit value, motor heating
This parameter can be used to specify a percentage of motor heating as a pre-
warning limit. The motor starter issues a warning if the parameterized motor
heating limit is exceeded. It is switched off at 100%.
Setting range: 0% to 95%.
Pre-warning limit value for time tripping reserve
This parameter can be used to specify a time as a pre-warning limit value. The
motor starter warns regarding an imminent overload tripping within the parame-
terized time if the current operating conditions are retained.
Setting range: 0 seconds to 500 seconds.
