The most important advantages with the activated soft start function are soft
start-up and run-down, uninterrupted switchover without peak loads that place
stress on the network, and the small dimensions.
Many drives that so far could only be operated with frequency converters can
be switched with the sDSSte / sRSSte to soft-starter operation provided no
speed adjustment is required.
Applications
Applications can be e.g.:
Conveyor belts, transport systems:
