The Area Information Mes sage List
You can de cide which types of area information mes sages
you wish to re ceive. The phone' s Area Info list can hold
up to 20 codes.
In serting an Area Information Code
You can ac cess the Area Info list from the Mail menu.

From the Mail menu, se lect Area info.

Scroll to Edit list and press
The dig its to the left in di cate the po si tion in the list.
You can scroll for ward and back ward through the list
with the navi ga tion key.

To in sert a code, scroll to the first empty lo ca tion by us -
ing the navi ga tion key. Press

En ter the new code. (You only need to en ter 40 for
040, since the phone will add the lead ing zero auto mati -
cally.)
Erasing or Re placing a Code

From the Mail menu, se lect Area info.

When you re ceive Area in for ma tion, the mes sage will be
stored in the phone mem ory. Please note that the phone will
only store one mes sage per code. This means that the pre vi -
ously stored mes sage in a spe cific code will be erased.
Pro vided Area in fo is turned on, you can read the mes -
sages with the Area mes sages func tion in the mail
menu.
