Re ceiv ing Fax and Data Calls –
Sin gle Number ing
If your net work and sub scrip tion only sup port sin gle num -
ber ing, the phone does not rec og nize the type of in com ing
call. This means that the call ing party has to tell you if you are
go ing to re ceive a fax or data call.
Do the fol low ing to pre pare your phone for a cer tain type of
call:

In the menu sys tem, scroll to Next call type
(the Data menus must be turned on) and press

Se lect the type of call you are go ing to re ceive.
•
If you se lect Speech, the next call will be han dled as
a speech call.
•
If you se lect FAX, the next call will be handled as a fax
call.
If you se lect Data, the next call will be handled as a

data call.

Re ceive the call ac cord ing to the in struc tions above.
Note!
The next call set ting remains un til you change it. The cur rent
set ting, if not a speech call, is shown on the mid dle row of the
standby dis play (see pic ture).
