Tip! If you have en tered a number in the scratch pad dur ing a call,
you can store it in the Phone Book by se lect ing Store from
the Phone book menu while you have the number in the
dis play.

If you try to store a phone number in a po si tion which al ready
con tains a phone number, the mes sage Used Over -

When the Memo ries are Full
•
If you try to store a phone number when all the po si tions
in the card mem ory are oc cu pied, a po si tion number in the
phone mem ory will be sug gested in the top line of the dis -
play.
•
If both memo ries are full, no po si tion number will be
sug gested. If you still wish to store the phone number,
you have to en ter the number of an al ready oc cu pied po -
si tion, thus eras ing the old number.

Re calling a Phone Num ber
Storing a Num ber With a Tone Sig nal Code
In or der to, for ex am ple, per form bank ing by phone or con -
trol a phone an swer ing ma chine, you will need to use codes.
These codes are sent as tone sig nals (also called DTMF
tones).
Note! Any thing en tered af ter a pause is sent as DTMF tones from
the Phone Book.
If you want to save the phone number in the Phone Book to -
gether with the codes:

Af ter you en ter the phone number, press and hold the
* key un til the pause char ac ter ' p ' ap pears.

If needed, in sert an other pause, an other code and so on.

Con tinue fol low ing the in struc tions on how to store a
phone number.
When you make the call, the phone will dial the number, wait
un til the call is an swered and send the code. If you in serted
an other pause and an other code, it will pause again, send the
next code and so on.
The Speed Di al ing Fa cil ity
You can call the phone num bers that you store in the po si -
tions 1 – 9 in the card mem ory by en ter ing the po si tion number
and then press ing . There fore, you should save po si tions
