Mak ing and Re ceiv ing Calls
The in struc tions in this chap ter as sume that you have turned
on your phone and that you are within range of a net work.
Emer gency Calls
To make an emer gency call:

If the phone is not on, turn it on by press ing the
un til you hear a click.

Making Do mes tic Calls
To make a do mes tic call:

shown in the dis play.

To make an in ter na tional call:

Press and hold the 0 key un til the in ter na tional char ac -
ter + is dis played.
The + will auto mati cally be re placed by the in ter na -
tional di al ing pre fix for the coun try from which you are
call ing.

En ter the coun try code, the area code (with out the lead -
ing zero) and the phone number.

Press
to make the call.
YES
When you are roam ing, your phone will auto mati cally search
for a net work. Which net works you can use de pends on the
agree ments your op era tor has signed with the op era tors in
the area you are visiting. See chap ter " Net works" .
