Some fea tures/menus are op era tor dependent
To Edit an En try in the Phone Book
There are two ways of bring ing up the Phone Book en try you
wish to edit. You can use ei ther the stor age po si tion or the
name.
To edit the en try us ing the po si tion:

From the Phone book menu, se lect Edit.

En ter the po si tion number for the en try you wish to
edit.

Find pos
•
For a po si tion in the card mem ory, sim ply en ter the
Position:

number.
For a po si tion in the phone mem ory, press and hold

down the # key un til the ' ¤' char ac ter ap pears and
then en ter the number.

to se lect the en try.
YES
You will now see...
•
the name (dis played on the mid dle row).

Press the navi ga tion key
wish to edit.
The cur sor is po si tioned to the right on the se lected
row.

Edit the row by us ing...

key to erase.

the navi ga tion key to move the cur sor left (or right
when it is po si tioned in a row).

If needed, press the navi ga tion key
other row and con tinue ed it ing.

To edit the en try us ing the name:

From the Phone book menu, se lect Edit.

Press the navi ga tion key

The dis play now shows Find name in the mid dle
row.

En ter the name for the en try you wish to edit, us ing the
nu meric keys. The more let ters you en ter, the bet ter the
Emma_
match.

to se lect the en try.

You can now con tinue from point 4 above.
Tip!
When you edit us ing the name, you can not scroll be tween the
dif fer ent en tries that match the char ac ters you en tered. Only
the first match is dis played. In some cases there fore, it might
be eas ier to re call the number us ing the name to check the
stor age po si tion, and then use this to edit us ing the po si tion.
Eras ing a Phone Num ber
To erase a phone number from the Phone Book:

Re call the number us ing Name re call or
Po si tion re call .

Press and hold
. The ques tion Erase? ap pears.

Press
to erase the number.
YES
Note!
You can also se lect Erase from the Phone book menu
and then en ter the stor age po si tion.
Should you want to erase all num bers from the phone mem -
ory (not pos si ble for the card mem ory), you can do this as fol -
lows:

From the Phone book menu, se lect Erase all
from Phone.
