The Card Lock
Your SIM card is pro tected by a card lock. When you pur -
chase your SIM card, you ob tain a PIN code (Per sonal Iden -
tity Num ber).
Every time you turn the phone on, you have to en ter the PIN
and then press .

If the PIN is en tered in cor rectly three times in suc ces sion,
the SIM card will be blocked. This is in di cated by the mes sage

If Your SIM Card Is Blocked be low.
To Change the PIN Code

From the Ac cess menu, se lect Change PIN
code.

En ter the old (cur rent) PIN code and press

En ter the new PIN code and press

At the prompt Re peat new PIN en ter the new
PIN a sec ond time.
The mes sage New PIN con firms that the PIN code has
been changed.
Note! If the mes sage Match ing er ror ap pears, the new PIN
was en tered in cor rectly.
If the mes sage Wrong PIN ap pears, fol lowed by En ter
Old PIN the old PIN was en tered in cor rectly.

Changing the PIN2 Code
De pend ing on the net work you use, some serv ices re quire
that you en ter a sec ond PIN code, the PIN2 code.
l Se lect Change PIN2 code from the Ac cess
menu.
Fol low the same pro ce dure as de scribed in " To Change the
PIN code" .
Locking the SIM Card

Se lect Lock card from the Ac cess menu.
