Installation and control panel wiring (B901)

Calculate power consumption
Make sure that there is enough power for the module and the other powered devices that you
want to connect to the system.
Refer to On-board outputs, page 65.

Wiring to the control panel
Use either the terminal strip labeled with PWR, A, B, and COM on the module to wire to the
SDI2 terminals labeled on the control panel, or use the interconnect wiring connector and the
included interconnect cable.
For terminal wiring, use 18 AWG to 22 AWG (1.0 mm to 0.6 mm) wire.
Notice!
Use either the terminal strip wiring or interconnect wiring to the control panel. Do not use
both. When you connect multiple modules, you can combine terminal strip and interconnect
wiring connectors in parallel.
On a B9512 or B8512, the B901 can connect to the SDIx bus. The module then works as a
D9210C when SDIx is set as SDI. Use either the terminal strip wiring or interconnect wiring to
the control panel.

D9210C access control interface module

The D9210C is a four-wire SDI powered device providing connections for an access door point
and door strike. Each D9210C supports one door to control access. You can independently
configure each access door.

Set the module address.
Hold the module mounting brackets onto the inside of the enclosure. Match the bracket
holes to a 3-hole mounting pattern on the enclosure
Use the supplied mounting screws to secure the module.
