3.2.12.2 MAIN FUSER ASSY (PL9.1.2) Removal

1. Remove the EXIT TRAY ASSY. (See Section 3.2.13.1.)
2. Pull out the FUSER ASSY.
3. Disconnect the 2 connectors (P/J72B, P/J79) of the MAIN FUSER ASSY.
4. Remove the 3 screws (gold, w/washer, 8mm) securing the MAIN FUSER
ASSY, Remove the MAIN FUSER ASSY.
After replacing the MAIN FUSER ASSY with a new part,
C A U T I O N
enter the maintenance mode to reset the counter (Fuser
Counter Clear). (For details, see Chapter 6.)
When installing the MAIN FUSER ASSY, make sure to set it
from directly above. If not, the earth spring will be
exposed, and it can cause paper jam.
