Planning and application
This behaviour ensures that only energy necessary to ensure the optimum
level of brightness is used. The energy consumption can be reduced further
if additional presence detectors, e.g. ABB i-bus
or Presence Detector PM/A are integrated into the system. In this way the
light and the light control can only be switched on if there are persons
located in the room. Many studies
control can save up to 50 % (see chapter Annex) of the energy used.
