*: Assignable
(1): With the default CC# assignment of the ARP controller
(INPUT/CTRL> CC page).
These CC#s are enabled if the G-MIDI> OUT page setting ARP
Controllers MIDI Out is set to Control Change.
Normally, you'll use these default CC#s when assigning a CC# to
the ARP SW.
#: When you use the controller of the KROSS, the corresponding
or assigned control change will be transmitted. For example, pitch
bend will be transmitted only when you use the pitch bend wheel.
When one of the KROSS's controllers is used, the corresponding
or the assigned control change will be transmitted.
The following sections describes operation in each mode.
Program mode
When one of the KROSS's controllers is used, a control change
message will be transmitted on the global MIDI channel (MIDI
Channel see page 160).
If the the assignable pedal are assigned to Master Volume, the
universal sytem exclusive message Master Volume will be
transmitted.
Combination mode
When one of the KROSS's controllers is used, a control change
message will be transmitted on the global MIDI channel (MIDI
Channel see page 160).
Simultaneously, the message will also be transmitted on the MIDI
channel (MIDI Channel C–TIMBRE> MIDI) of any timbre
where the Status (see page 71) is EXT or EX2.
When one of the KROSS's controllers is used, its effect will apply
to any timbre where the Status is INT and where MIDI Channel
setting is either Gch or the same as the global MIDI channel.
In the case of Master Volume, the universal exclusive
message Master Volume will be transmitted only on the
global MIDI channel.
You can adjust settings for MIDI Filter (see page 82) to
enable or disable control changes and controllers for each
timbre. When checked, the above operations will be enabled.

Effect dynamic modulation can be controlled when the Ch (see
page 92) setting for IFX1–5, MFX1, or 2 is either set to Gch or to
the same channel as the global MIDI channel. (In the case of All
Routed, control is possible on the MIDI channel of any routed
timbre.)
Sequencer mode
When one of the KROSS's controllers is used, its effect will apply
to the MIDI track 1–16 that is currently selected by Track Select
(see page 104).
If the Status (see page 116) of the track selected by Track Select
is EXT, EX2, or BTH, a control change message will be
transmitted on the MIDI channel specified by MIDI Channel (see
page 116).
If the Status is INT or BTH, using one of the KROSS's controllers
will affect only that MIDI track. Simultaneously, the same effect
will also apply to any MIDI track with the same MIDI Channel
setting.
In the case of Master Volume, the universal exclusive
message Master Volume will be transmitted.
You can adjust settings for MIDI Filter (S–MIDI FILTER) to
enable or disable control changes and controllers for each
track. When checked, the operations effective for a Status of
INT or BTH will be enabled. Tracks whose Status is EXT,
EX2, or BTH will transmit control changes regardless of this
setting.
Effect dynamic modulation can be controlled when the Ch (S–
IFX) setting for IFX1–5 or MFX1, 2 matches the MIDI channel of
the track selected by Track Select. (In the case of All Routed,
control is possible on the MIDI channel of all routed tracks.)
If one of the KROSS's controllers is used during realtime
recording, the corresponding or assigned control change will be
recorded.
