Replacing an Expansion Card

To replace an expansion card:
Turn off the Passport 5430.
1.
Set the power switch to off (0). See "Turning the Passport 5430 On and Off"
on page 6-9.
If a redundant power supply is installed, turn it off.
2.
Attach an antistatic wrist strap.
3.
Caution: Electrostatic discharge can damage hardware. You must wear the
antistatic wrist strap on your arm whenever you handle printed circuit boards.
For instructions, see "Attaching the Antistatic Wrist Strap" on page 3-2.
