Adding a WAN Adapter Module

To add a WAN adapter module:
Turn off the Passport 5430.
1.
For instructions, see "Turning the Passport 5430 On and Off" on page 6-9.
Warning: Do not install Passport 5430 WAN adapter modules with the power
on.
If a redundant power supply is present, turn it off.
2.
Put on an antistatic wrist strap.
3.
Caution: Electrostatic discharge can damage hardware. You must wear the
antistatic wrist strap on your arm whenever you handle printed circuit boards.
For instructions, see "Attaching the Antistatic Wrist Strap" on page 3-2.
