D. TRANSFER POWER
(1) SIMPLEX PASS
Functions • Adjust the 2nd image transfer output (ATVC) on the single-sided pages for each
paper type.
Use • To use when the transfer failure at the trailing edge occurs.
Adjustment • The default setting is "0."
Range
Adjustment To increase the ATVC value (in the direction of a foggier image),
Instructions decrease the setting value.
To decrease the ATVC value (in the direction of a less foggy image),
increase the setting value.
Setting/ 1. Select [TRANSFER POWER] and press the MENU/SELECT key.
Procedure 2. Select [SIMPLEX PASS] and press the MENU/SELECT key.
3. Select desired paper type with the Up key /Down key
SELECT key.
4. Select desired setting value with the Up key /Down key
SELECT key.
(2) DUPLEX PASS
Functions • Adjust the 2nd image transfer output (ATVC) on the duplexed pages for each paper
type.
Use • To use when the transfer failure at the trailing edge occurs.
Adjustment • The default setting is "0."
Range

Function • Adjusts the Printer in case of an image quality problem (uneven density)
Use • To correct image quality problems (uneven density) due to the Printer being operated
at a high altitude.
Setting • The default setting is "0."
