Communication Setting (Initialization) in FX
Programmable Controller
The communication setting is not required in FX PLCs for the N:N network.
Using the following procedure, verify that the communication setting is not specified for another
communication type and verify that the setting is correct.
When using the N:N Network in ch2 in an FX

Check Procedure

Monitoring D8120

Turn ON the power to the PLC while it is in STOP mode, and monitor D8120.
1. When the value of D8120 is "0"
The communication setting is not provided.
2. When the value of D8120 is any value other than "0"
The communication setting is provided.

Checking absence/presence of parameter setting

Check for the absence/presence using the GX Developer or FXGP/WIN.
1) GX Developer operating procedure (For details, refer to Section 5.2.)
2) FXGP/WIN operating procedure (For details, refer to Section 5.3.)

Checking absence/presence of sequence program setting
Check whether or not a write instruction is programmed for D8120.
1. When such an instruction is programmed
Program example:
Change the program as shown below, and then change the PLC mode from STOP to RUN.

Proceed to the next step.
