(1) Lift wiper arm to permit the latch (Fig. 15) to
be pulled out to the holding position. Remove arms
from pivots using a rocking motion.
CAUTION: The use of a screwdriver or other pry
ing tool to remove a wiper arm may distort it. This
distortion could allow the arm to come off the pivot
shaft, regardless of how carefully it is installed.

(2) Remove weather-strip along front edge of cowl
screen (Fig. 16).
(3) Release plastic anchor screws (Fig. 17).
(4) Move cowl screen aside far enough to access
reservoir in right cowl plenum area.
(5) Remove 2 push nuts and slide vacuum reser
voir off studs (Fig. 18).

(6) Disconnect all hoses.
(7) Reverse removal procedures to install. Refer to
Group 8K, Wiper and Washer Systems for correct
indexing of wiper arms.
