TURN SIGNAL AND HAZARD WARNING SYSTEMS
DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING (Continued)
(1) Disconnect the multi-function switch connector
as described in this group.
(2) Using an ohmmeter, perform the switch conti­
nuity checks at the switch terminals as shown in the
chart (Fig. 2).
(3) I f the switch fails any of the continuity checks,
replace the faulty switch. I f the switch is OK, repair
the lighting circuits as required.
R E M O V A L A N D I N S T A L L A T I O N
HAZARD WARNING/TURN SIGNAL FLASHER
(1) Disconnect and isolate the battery negative
cable.
(2) Open the driver's door and remove the snap-in
fuseblock module cover on the left end of the instru­
ment panel (Fig. 3).
(3) Unplug the flasher from the fuseblock module.
(4) To install the flasher, align the terminals with
the cavities in the fuseblock module and push the
flasher firmly into place.
(5) Reverse the remaining removal procedures to
complete the installation.
