14. OPTIONS AND AUXILIARY EQUIPMENT
(d) Line noise filter (FR-BLF, FR-BSF01)
This filter is effective in suppressing noises radiated from the power supply side and output side of
the servo amplifier and also in suppressing high-frequency leakage current (zero-phase current)
especially within 0.5MHz to 5MHz band.
Connection Diagram
•Wind the three-phase wires by the equal number of times in
the same direction, and connect the filter to the power
supply side and output side of the servo amplifier.
•The effect of the filter on the power supply side is higher as
the number of winds is larger. The number of turns is
generally four. On the output side, the number of turns
must be four or less.
•Do not wind the grounding wire together with the three-
phase wires. The filter effect will decrease. Use a separate
wire for grounding.
•If the wires are too thick to be wound, two or more filters
should be used and the total number of turns should be four
or more.

(e) Radio noise filter (FR-BIF)...for the input side only
This filter is effective in suppressing noises radiated from the power supply side of the servo
amplifier especially in 10MHz and lower radio frequency bands. The FR-BIF is designed for the
input only.
Connection Diagram
Make the connection cables as short as possible.
Grounding is always required.
