If the Lace Carriage has jammed ...
DO NOT PUSH THE CARRIAGE BY FORCE.
1. Remove the yarn from the Yarn Feeder, and loosen the
Arm Nuts.
2. Lift up the front of the Arm, and carefully remove it
from the needles by moving it up and down.
If
the hooks of the needles are caught in the Arm,
carefully displace them using a Transfer Tool.
3. Remove the Arm from the Carriage.
4. Push the Release Lever to lift up the top of the Carriage.
Move the Carriage in its proceeding direction and off the
working needles.
5. Check the stitches, and if stitches have moved behind
the latches, replace them into the hooks using a Transfer
Tool.
6. Align the working needles in B position and unravel the
incomplete row referring to page 101.
7. With the top of the Carriage up, pass it to the side with
the yarn end, press down the Carriage, and continue to
knit.

tern Card is/are in use, refer to

incorrectly knitted ... "
on pages 108 & 109 before knitting again.
