KNITTING ON THE KNITTER USING
THE
YC-5
With
the
use of the Yarn Changer, and supported by the Ribber, stripe pattern
in
stockinet,
tuck
and
slip
stitches in colours, using the Pattern Card for the
knitter
can be knitted easily.
Cast on using the Knitter and the Ribber and then follow the procedure set forth below.

Turn ON the machine and
push ON
the
Inspection But·

4. Set the pattern controls,
Point Cams,
and the Needle-1
Cam at either of the
Point Cams.
5. Thread waste yarn through Yarn Feeder and knit one
row from right to left. (The yarn will be hooked
alter-
nately on the two rows of needles in service in a
zi
gzag
pattern.)
6. Insert
Cast-on Comb
between Knitter and Ribber so
that its teeth face to Knitter Sinker
Posts,
and then
suspend Weights on the
Comb
as shown opposite.
