7.2.17 Exit Menu

This menu exits the BIOS Setup Utility.

Note the followings when returning a setting value to an initial value by pressing the [F9] key.
• When an onboard software RAID is not used, check the setting value for the "S_ATA Mode" item of
" ATA Controller Config submenu" ( p.185) in the [Advanced] menu is "Compatible". When it is
set to "RAID", the system might not start.
• When using an onboard software RAID, "Embedded RAID CD/DVD-ROM" is displayed in the "Boot
Sequence" item of "7.2.4 Boot Options Submenu" ( p.181).
Check that the boot order has no problem.
If the boot order of the Embedded RAID CD/DVD-ROM is the lowest, the system might not be
booted from a CD/DVD.

Saves the current settings to CMOS and closes the BIOS Setup Utility. At the same
time the server restarts.
Exits the BIOS Setup Utility without saving the current settings. The previously
saved settings remain valid.
Reads and displays the default values of this server.
The value set at the previous time is displayed for the value in "
submenu" ( p.191).
"Local IP address", "Subnet Mask", and "Gateway Address" in the LAN Settings
submenu are not reset.
Also, all items in the LAN Settings submenu are not set again.
Reads and displays the values valid at the time BIOS Setup Utility was loaded.
